Filterbuy needed a way to enhance customer engagement and personalization. The Personal Profile project aims to create a user-friendly, personalized experience that allows customers to easily access order history, set preferences, and view tailored product recommendations, ultimately strengthening customer loyalty and improving the shopping experience.
To understand the needs of Filterbuy’s customers, we conducted:
Studied best practices for personalization in user profiles across leading e-commerce platforms. This analysis informed our understanding of effective layout, customization options, and recommendation strategies.
We explored several layout concepts that prioritized user flow and information hierarchy. The primary focus was to make the dashboard intuitive and ensure that users could navigate effortlessly.
Using Figma, we created low-fidelity wireframes to map out the user flow and test layout options. After several iterations based on initial feedback, high-fidelity prototypes were developed to provide a realistic visual of the final design.

User feedback led to several iterative improvements, including refining the recommendation algorithms to better match user preferences and simplifying the navigation menu for quicker access.

This project reinforced the value of data-driven design in creating personalized, user-friendly interfaces. Involving users in the design process allowed us to build a feature-rich profile experience that directly addressed customer needs.
Looking ahead, additional features such as more advanced customization settings and integration of user feedback mechanisms could further enhance the profile experience. Additionally, ongoing testing will allow for continuous optimization of recommendation algorithms to improve accuracy and relevance.
